The event was started last year by sisters Caitlin and Hannah in honor of their grandma Helen Weides who was a volunteer for OLP for over 50 years, raising funds, collecting much-needed supplies, and speaking with many churches about the mission of Our Lady of Peace. She was an amazing role model to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, so in the spirit of “Grammy’s” life of service and dedication to Our Lady of Peace, we are heading back into Lake Harriet!
