Polar Plunge for Our Lady of Peace Hospice

The Second Annual Polar Plunge for Our Lady of Peace Hospice will be happening again on Sunday, March 5th!

The event was started last year by sisters Caitlin and Hannah in honor of their grandma Helen Weides who was a volunteer for OLP for over 50 years raising funds, collecting much needed supplies and speaking with many churches about the mission of Our Lady of Peace.

She was an amazing role model to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so in the spirit of “Grammy’s” life of service and dedication to Our Lady of Peace, we are heading back into Lake Harriet!

Our Lady of Peace Residential Hospice is a welcoming place of peace and compassion. We provide care for adults with any terminal illness and children with a cancer diagnosis at our beautiful campus in Saint Paul, Minnesota free of charge  to all patients and families.  Our dedicated care teams work closely with patients and their families to develop an individualized care plan that suits their needs. Each care team consists of a physician, nurse, social worker, pastoral care director, bereavement services, and pharmacist.
