Bluebirds Sing for OLP

On Thursday, May 14th, Our Lady of Peace will host our annual Spring Luncheon. Getting there is a little easier this year because the only traffic you’ll encounter is online! Simply log onto ourladyofpeace.com at NOON on May 14th for a blessing from Archbishop Bernard Hebda, followed by an incredible story of love and dedication that led to national media attention and over 50,000 shares on Facebook. The video will be available throughout the day and beyond.

Meet Keynote Speaker Kristy Boike

After Ron Rudolph’s wife passed away at Our Lady of Peace, he dealt with the loss by building bluebird houses because she loved bluebirds. With the help of his daughter, Kristy Boike and her family, Ron’s bird houses are now helping hundreds of other families work through their grief while raising money for Our Lady of Peace. Kristy says, “Heartache surrounding such a devastating loss in our family has led to joy surrounding what we’ve managed to create in my mother’s memory.”

Kristy Boike recently shared her story on the Good Morning America (GMA) website and talked about how she and her family are shipping bluebird house kits across the country for families to build as they shelter in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. Join us for our online luncheon and hear Kristy’s story of love, commitment, and ongoing effort to make bluebirds sing around the world for Our Lady of Peace!

The OLP annual luncheon is a springtime tradition that brings people together to learn more about our work and the impact of our care on individuals and families. To stay safe, we ask that you serve yourself lunch this year, and log onto ourladyofpeace.com.

One special request: Please invite 3-5 friends to join us for this heart-warming presentation that will be available to visitors on our website through June 1, 2020.
