Butterflies will be Released at Our Lady of Peace on August 8th

Every year, Our Lady of Peace (OLP) celebrates the lives of those who have passed in our care and acknowledges the love and grief that remains in the hearts of their families. This year’s OLP Butterfly Release Summer Memorial Celebration is on August 8th

Many believe butterflies, especially monarchs, represent the souls of those who have passed away and left the mortal world. Butterflies are viewed as a symbol of life after death because of their metamorphosis from caterpillars to colorful flying creations. They symbolize the presence of loved ones and remind us they are at peace.

Please join us for our annual Butterfly Release and Memorial Celebration

August 8th

4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Our Lady of Peace Memorial Garden

2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul

It is our honor to care for individuals at the end of life and their families, and it’s been our mission for over eight decades. We are grateful to our donors for supporting this mission.

To walk into this place is to be on sacred ground.

How they have treated our loved one is remarkable and beautiful.
