Our Leadership Team

Jeffrey Thorne is our President & CEO and joined us in 2022. He comes to us from Volunteers of America where he served as regional vice president of healthcare operations. Prior to that, he was vice president of operations at St. Therese, a Benedictine senior community with a continuum of care. He brings 25 years of experience in healthcare and senior housing and care within non-profit organizations.

Michael Pinchback MD is the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Our Lady of Peace Residential and Community Hospice.  He joined in 2016.  Originally graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Medicine, he finished his residency at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine.  He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board.

Jane Danner comes to Our Lady of Peace with 35 years of experience working with older adults in health care and senior living.  More recently, Jane was the Executive Manager for Health Regulation-Licensing for the Minnesota Department of Health. Jane’s experience includes policy development, regulatory compliance, consumer satisfaction and person-centered care.  Her role and focus is on promoting the health, safety and welfare of Minnesotans and older adults receiving health care.

Sheila Bethke has served as the Director of Finance for Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Home Health Care since 1991. Beginning her career as an intern from UW-Eau Claire, she has witnessed and contributed to significant growth within the organization. Bethke values the dynamic healthcare environment and finds fulfillment in improving the lives of community members.

Denise Borglund, RN, Director of Clinical Services – Residential Hospice (as of December 2024), brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to Our Lady of Peace, which she joined in 2016. A graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (BSN), Borglund is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered hospice care and fostering collaborative teamwork.

Lindsey Pelletier, RN, Director of Clinical Services for Home Health Care and In-Home Hospice, joined Our Lady of Peace in 2015.   Lindsey started as a Nurse Case Manager on the Community team and moved to Community Nurse Supervisor.  She started her nursing career working in the intensive care unit prior to hospice.  Lindsey believes in partnering with patients and families in their care and providing education on end-of-life care. 

Lisa Sweeney, Director of Development for Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Home Health Care since 2014, brings unparalleled passion to her role. With a background in education and experience at the Marian Center, she is driven by the organization’s 80+ year mission to provide cost-free, 24-hour end-of-life care, raising crucial awareness to ensure its continuation.

Kathy Wedemeyer, Director of Marketing and Communications for Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Home Health, joined the organization in 2018. She focuses on building relationships, raising awareness of all services, growing in-home care, securing continuing education speakers, and ensuring consistent brand integrity.
