Volunteer With Us

Make a Difference

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Our Lady of Peace Hospice.  The U.S. hospice movement was founded by volunteers and today we play an important and valuable role on the hospice team.  It’s important to know hospice is the only provider with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) requiring volunteers to provide at least 5% of the total patient care hours.

Volunteers are an essential part of the mission at Our Lady of Peace. They support our staff and help enrich the experience of our patients. For those who want to help, many opportunities are available to suit most schedules and interests.

We have several entities within the Our Lady of Peace organization, and each has different volunteer roles available.

Our volunteers pose outside our Residential Hospice.
Please note: If you have lost a loved one recently, we ask that you wait one year to volunteer with the exception of special event volunteering. You must be 18+ to volunteer.
